A project for a luxury brand conglomerate.

In this design studio, material and scale were explored as design generators through five model blow-ups.

In Stratum, three seemingly independent formations are suspended in space; gently intersecting and interacting to characterize a larger tectonic system. A soaring atrium surrounds the programmatic forms of the office, restaurant, and retail areas; providing an open area reaching to the roof for sedimentary mixing among occupants and visitors of the project. The sloped floor and roof strata appear to have been formed by forces that push, pull and bend, depositing the programmable areas into layers that push the boundaries of the glass box envelope.
